Custard

Ingredients:

  • Milk - 850ml/3.5 cups
  • zest of 1 large lemon
  • 16 g vanilla sugar
  • 3 egg yolks, 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup corn starch 

Add lemon zest and sugar to milk, whisk and bring to boil.

Whisk egg yolks and sugar together. Mix corn starch.
Add this mixture to boiled milk after switching off heat.

Strain the mixture.
Cook until thickened and bubbly. Keep whisking while cooking.
Cool for 2-3 hours.

Toppings:
Sprinkle cinnamon powder or cocoa powder on the top.

Or sprinkle powdered sugar and caramelize with a blow torch.

  • Soaked Chia Seeds
  • Chopped Dark Chocolate
  • Cinnamon
